Crock Pot Chili Recipe

Crock Pot Chili Recipe

During the month of November I will be sharing my recipes and other blogger recipes that can easily be converted to freezer meals. We all love Chili! You can easily prepare this meal (even double it) and stash in the freezer for a dinner you will just have to throw in the slow cooker!

I saw my first Christmas commercial today so that can only mean one thing, winter is coming! (Game of Thrones anyone? ha!). My crock pot and I have a special relationship during the winter time (ok, all year long). I love smelling my dinner as it cooks all day, and I really love not having to stand and babysit it while it does so!

Crock Pot Chili is one of my favorite recipes to make in the winter and my family gets excited every time I make it. We eat it with Doritos and it is amazing. (Trust me, I know it sounds weird but it is So good!).

This Crock Pot Chili Recipe from Simplee Thrifty is easy with a kick of spice and will be perfect for any winter night! Make sure to visit Simplee Thrifty for her yummy chili recipe!

Lasagna Roll-Ups

Here is a really fun and easy way to make Lasagna for your family. What I really like about this way to make Lasagna is the individual portions you can freeze and serve. I made a double batch and we ate part for dinner and froze the rest for another night. Well – the kids loved it so much that they ate the frozen Lasagna for lunch the next day! So I think the next time I am going to have to make even more!

It does take a little time to put together – but once you get the hang of it you can zip through it fast. If you are making other freezer meals, start by boiling the noodles and then they can be the last thing you prep.

This recipe is very flexible – so you can make more or less depending on what you have in your pantry.

Welcome To + 5 Slow Cooker Soup Recipes

Slow Cooker soups

Do you dread dinner time? I get so frustrated when it’s about 4pm and all I have is some type of meat defrosting on the counter! When I have freezer meals already prepared, all I need to do is heat it up and dinner is done! Another bonus is that I don’t have to clean up a huge mess!

I love to prepare freezer meals! It not only saves me time in the kitchen, it saves me money. It is very tempting to go out to dinner when you don’t really feel like cooking dinner. With freezer meals I have no excuese!

I hope can help you not dread the daily question of “what’s for dinner?”! I don’t plan on spending a whole day in the kitchen making meals for a month. The most I like to prepare is 10 meals at a time. I don’t have time to prepare more than that – nor do I have the freezer space.
